Another year has passed, and I am so grateful to be alive! Life gives us many experiences, and in 2022 I learned that these experiences are related to the energy we express in the world. My spiritual growth has given me new insights into my soul’s purpose.

This purpose is to serve the world, so I released my new website at the start of 2023! I am here to help you in three ways; each is beautifully unique. But today, in this blog, I want to share a tiny part of my life.

As a mom of early teens, I get nervous about the exposure my children will soon have and are already experiencing through the internet. It makes my stomach turn anytime I think about it! ☹ I know from my work that it matters whom they hang out with, so I keep the conversations flowing with them.

However, I wondered what else I could do to ensure they have the tools they need to live a healthy, good life.

I saw the video of Terry Gogna on Facebook, where he explained how he gave his son an opportunity to read one book a week from his personal development library and get $40 in exchange. This gave me an idea for my boys.

So, this is what I came up with:

I gave my boys their first job – an opportunity to make their own $1,000 in 2023! Of course, they were interested in learning more about it because $1,000 is a lot of money for 11-year-olds. They will receive $80 for each completed Mindvalley Quest that they do within one month. If they take longer than one month, it will become $40, and if they stay on track till the end of the year, they will get a bonus of $40! Their little faces lit up, and they were ready to take on their first job!

In the last two weeks, they have signed their contract and chosen which Quest they want to start with. I love it; I will give you an update at the end of the year! Here is the contract that I made them sign:

There are three reasons why I am sharing this with you today;

• So, you can create your version for your child and give them the tools they need to live enriched lives.
• To share that I, too, get nervous about parenting and equipping my children with tools for a lifetime.
• Many books, courses, and videos can positively influence our children – yet we need to show them the way by example.

Moving forward, I will share parts of my life to keep things real. As a coach, I have the tools to help my clients, but that doesn’t mean my learning is done. I will continue to develop myself and use the new insights for my loved ones, clients, and the larger community.
